Anxiety.

Anxiety is part of everyday life and everyone experiences it at some point during the day, that surge of panic as you look at the clock and realize you are 10 minutes late for work/school  or the sweaty palms as you get ready to talk to your boss at work. We all experience anxiety. As Ruby Wax puts it  ‘We are all frazzled, all of us…’Five hundred years ago no one died of stress: we invented this concept and now we let it rule us. ‘

When anxiety becomes problematic, about imagined problems , recurrent and life interfering then getting support can be helpful in learning to manage the anxiety.

Anxiety can be situational or more of a long term issue which can surface and intensify when we are under constant or high stress, significant life changes, hormonal issues or health problems/chronic pain.
